Digital Asset News 20-hour charity livestream featuring Ivan on Tech discussing animal shelter fundraising, weight loss, and the Bull Mania trading platform
Digital Asset News host Rob runs a 20-hour livestream featuring Ivan on Tech as a guest, covering a Puerto Rico animal shelter fundraiser, Ivan's personal weight loss journey, and a walkthrough of the Bull Mania trading and research platform.
Summary
Rob is hosting a 20-hour livestream on the Digital Asset News channel, with Ivan on Tech appearing as one of several guests. Rob opens by explaining his Act 60 tax incentive situation in Puerto Rico and the charitable donation requirement that led him to support a local animal shelter called Amigos, which needs to relocate by September and requires funding for new land and infrastructure. Ivan then discusses the AI-generated video skits his community produces — called 'AI slop' — explaining that while some are purely for fun (such as a BitBoy prison-release clip and an SBF Star Wars parody), others carry a deliberate risk-management message about Bull Mania's mechanical rules, drawing a comparison to how Michael Saylor has used similar content. Ivan then shares details of his significant weight loss over five months, attributing it to AI-assisted calorie tracking, carnivore-style eating, and progressive overload gym training. The bulk of Ivan's segment is a live demonstration of the Bull Mania platform, including its Money Scanner tool that tracks bullish and bearish signals across stocks, crypto, and ETFs in real time, and a new Bull Mania AI feature that surfaces social media commentary and community sentiment around any asset. Ivan closes by pledging a $10,000 donation to Rob's animal shelter charity live on stream. After Ivan signs off, Rob shares an additional tip: he feeds Bull Mania's framework into Claude and uses it as a secondary analytical check on his own trades, which he found helped him avoid chasing and stay disciplined.

Stream opens and Rob introduces the charity context
Rob: All right, everybody. That's a good lesson for me — don't put a hot mic and start cussing like crazy.
Ivan: Exactly. It felt like we should be live. We didn't say anything too crazy, right?
Rob: Nah, not too crazy. Hey, Ivan, come on here so we can dump on everybody.
Ivan: Good being here again. It's now like the fourth time or something like that.
Rob: Yeah. First of all, what time is it over there where you're at?
Ivan: It's currently 10:05 AM.
Rob: And you're super early. So we're two hours into the 20-hour stream. How are you going to do 20 hours? How are you going to do it?
Ivan: I'm going to do it with a bunch of coffee and fasting, and then I'm going to let my excellent guests take control and give people a bunch of alpha. That's it.
Rob: Got it. Fantastic to be here. We can discuss the market, we can discuss anything.
Rob explains the Puerto Rico Act 60 structure and the Amigos animal shelter
Rob: So here's the thing — everybody heard the question about the shelter. When you're in Puerto Rico, we have this great thing called Act 60. There are other different laws around the world as far as capital gains, but it reduces your capital gains to zero. Corporate tax is down to 4%, and the homestead property tax goes to 1957 levels so it doesn't keep going up and up. That's why I picked Puerto Rico for that part. And of course the weather's great, people are great, food's great, and so on and so forth.
When I came here, you have to donate $10,000 to charitable causes. The one I picked — one of them — was Amigos. It's been around for three decades. It was started by Audrey, who gave up her house 30 years ago to run this animal shelter. It's a great place. Unfortunately, as time goes on, she's of advanced age and she said, "I can't do this anymore. I need you guys to find another place." So we did that. We found a place.
What we're doing — here's the new land. It's in Loíza in Puerto Rico, close to the beach. We need to clear the land, buy a bunch of containers that'll be the dog runs, fabricate them, install water lines, solar panels, generators, get in the actual kennels and food. And then the bigger thing is that it's not just that we lose the shelter — we lose people's jobs and livelihoods, because we have six people who work full-time. So it's important to me. I'm glad you asked the question. That's it in a nutshell.
Ivan: Fantastic. How many dogs do you have? Like 20, 30? I saw just a few dozen on the website.
Rob: It fluctuates. Usually it's around 40 to 50. We've had up to 70, because people know where it is and they just dump dogs. Just this week we got a mother dog and six of her puppies. We told them we don't have any space and they just dumped them anyway. What are we going to do? You've got to take them in. So that's where we're at right now. If people just donate — we get around 10 to 20,000 views every video. If people give 20, 40 bucks, hey —
Ivan: But this donation goes to Amigos, to this charity. So basically if someone needs a tax-deductible receipt, it's like a proper charity, right?
Rob: Yeah. For something like that, it's going to be a little difficult with the crypto space. You'd have to run this through and just tag it. When I do donations, I use Crypto Tax Trader and I tag it and say, "Hey, this $1,000 went to this, this $5,000 went to that." And that's pretty much it. If people need receipts and such, they can reach out to me and I can get you some.
Ivan: Yeah. I mean, these things normally are tax deductible, so it's very nice. And how are you guys progressing so far? You've got the land, you just need the financing — everything is ready to just get the funds and build it?
Rob: Yeah. We have funds in there, we have backups, but we don't have enough for the land totally, and we don't have enough for the upgrades. We have to buy the land by September 7th and then we have another five months or so to transfer everything. Basically what's going to happen is it's going to be me, Russ — who's the treasurer — the people that actually work there, and we're going to get a construction crew and do all the fabrication, moving things in, transferring, water lines, generator, all that stuff. So that just keeps me busy.
Ivan: Good, good, good. Awesome, Rob.
Ivan's AI-generated video skits and their purpose
Rob: So that's what we got for that piece. I'm glad you asked the question. Let's get to Ivan and what is he doing? What are these fantastic videos that keep coming out?
Ivan: It's AI slop — Hollywood style. No, it's fun. Our community loves doing these AI slops, and some of them have a message about risk management, like this one, for example. Some are just fun. With the BitBoy one, there's no complex message — just BitBoy releasing BitBoy out of prison to restart the super cycle. The SBF one is also just for fun — Bitcoin: The Phantom Menace, like in Star Wars, because SBF is sneaky, hiding there. So those ones are just for fun. But then some of them, like the one where I'm a knight, there's a bit of a message about risk management, Bull Mania, mechanical rules, and so on. We're just having fun, but there is something there with this AI stuff — you can have fun and education and explain to people what you do.
For us, for example, to explain risk management and Bull Mania and why it's important, it's so nice to do via these skits. Like this one where I'm a knight — if you guys watch it with the sound later on:
"When the offer sounds magical, you are the loot. Here, one spell creates more gold. Bitcoin — 21 million. No spell can create another. Entering the market without rules — that is crossing into PvP completely unprepared. Markets are PvP. Bull Mania: clear strategies, clear rules, protect your staff."
Yeah, sometimes the AI says "PV" instead of "PvP" — but that's the nature of AI slop. That's also what I love about this format. We call it AI slop, so don't expect perfect. It's fun anyway even if it's not perfect.
But before, when I saw Michael Saylor doing this, I was like, "Man, what is this? What is he doing?" I underestimated the power of these AI slops, because they are fun, they're engaging, you can have them done in like five minutes. It's fantastic. Now the better ones, like the BitBoy and SBF ones — I know the guy who makes them, his name is Small Pepe. He spends a lot of money on them.
Rob: Small Pepe. You know what, I never thought to myself, "Oh, this is just a training mechanism which you're using to get the point across about risk management."
Ivan: Yeah. It's fun, it's easy to make, people like them, and you can communicate a message. That's what Saylor has been doing all along. It's just that we were too dumb to get it. We thought it's just for fun, but it is for fun — but it's also a message.
Ivan's weight loss journey
Rob: Yeah. And I've got to tell you, there's another thing I want to share as far as a message goes. Take a look at this. Who's this? There's a pleasantly plump gentleman on the left and a thin guy on the right.
Ivan: Exactly. It's my weight loss. Yeah.
Rob: Two things. First of all, I see you've got a beautiful golden retriever there. You are an animal person. How long have you had that one?
Ivan: Yes. We have two. The bigger one in the picture, his name is Dimma. We've had him now for almost six years. And then Charlie — it's a smaller one, a white golden retriever. We've had him for five years. So they're six and five now.
Rob: That's great. You know what? We were talking about this, and people say, "Why do you like dogs, Rob?" I like dogs because they've never rugpulled me. They've never gone back on a business deal. And they're always excited to see me, as opposed to some people on X in my comment section.
Ivan: Exactly. People on X are the best. They tell me, "Ivan, it's just water weight, you're going to get it back." Another guy tells me, "Ivan, it's Ozempic. You stop with Ozempic, you're going to come back." Then he tells me, "Ivan, it's a fake private jet, it's AI." No — it's 99% positivity. But that 1% never goes away.
Rob: Before we get into Bull Mania, tell us about the time difference between those two pictures and what you did to lose the weight.
Ivan: So the time difference — on the left it's March, and on the right it's this weekend. So it's about five months. And the weight loss — there's nothing complex, but it's not easy. It's simple but it's not easy.
So there are two big components. One is of course a calorie deficit, and for the first time ever I started to use AI to track it. Before, I never tracked it because you have to download an app, it's small buttons, I have to click in everything — it's too much work. So I never got into tracking. But now everything that goes into the mouth needs to be registered. Before I could never get into doing it because of the app, the subscription. Now Claude — just take a picture. And also now I have kitchen scales everywhere so I can actually measure. For me, I'm a very mathematical person, so if I cannot measure it I become uninterested because I know it's not exact, and then I lose motivation. But now in all kitchens across all the places I am, there is a kitchen scale.
So everything I eat I try to weigh. Of course sometimes when I eat out I just take a picture — that's okay too. But I try to weigh as much as possible. I eat only one ingredient. Like for example, only lamb for dinner. Only one thing. I eat only one time per day. Next day, only chicken. So it's simple. When you eat food with many ingredients, how are you going to track that? It's impossible.
I keep it simple. Carnivore, that's it. Track it, stay in a caloric deficit. And then the second step is the gym — progressive overload, push higher weights all the time so you don't lose muscle. And then I use AI for all of that. I have AI connected to Notion. It tracks everything there. I have a whole system end to end. Everything I've done each and every day is in the Notion database.
I finally found something that works for me. Everyone has to find something that works for them. This has worked very nicely for me.
Rob: That's the key right there. I was talking to a couple of friends who've been big their whole lives and they're like, "Rob, what do you do to stay in shape?" I'm like, "I've been like this since I was 12. My metabolism is different." You have to find what works for you. But the basics — like the calorie deficit. Your calorie deficit, are you looking at like 1,500 below, or even less than that?
Ivan: So I calculated based on my weight and estimated body fat from the beginning. I estimated that my base metabolic rate — just what I burn without moving — is around 2,200 calories. So I started just being at or below that, because if I'm at or below my base metabolic rate, I'm in a good enough deficit. Then if I move, everything above that is additional deficit. So I just kept to that. Now I've decreased it to 2,000 because I've also lost about 17 kilos since I started. So I now moved it to 2,000. I just keep it very simple — figure out what my base metabolic rate is, what the body burns just not doing anything, and try not to go above that. Then everything I move is deficit.
Rob: Well, I've got to tell you, I think there's a post on X coming out. I would assume Ivan would do that and let people know how they can lose a little bit of weight. That sounds like something everybody could be interested in — just a quick thing, even like using AI.
Ivan: Yeah. And you know, I just got so motivated to get down to 15% body fat. Depending on how big you are, most people who are at 30–35% body fat — if you spend like half a year, eight months — you can get down to having a six-pack, literally. And then physique-wise, very few people have it. So it's quite an easy thing in comparison to other things I've done in life. It's easier to lose weight than to trade. Weight is so easy, man. You just need to stop putting stuff in your mouth and very quickly the body gets used to it. You just need to track the calories, because you don't understand how much some small thing can be. That's why with AI it's easier than ever — just take a picture, ideally get a kitchen scale so you understand how much is in some things. Chicken has been very good for me. Lamb has been very good. Anyway, it's like a whole system.
Rob: But it's important.
Ivan: It's important. It's easier to stay in shape than to get in shape. And that's pretty much been universally true.
Bull Mania platform walkthrough — Money Scanner and AI tools
Rob: That's a great segue, because you talked about the rules and the different things you do to make sure you're on track — and it's the same thing with Bull Mania. I've got to tell you, when I got access to Bull Mania, I was seeing there are a lot of rules here, but it becomes easier over time, just like working out, just like taking pictures of your food. So Ivan, walk us through this real quick. We were just talking before you came on — I was taking a look at AI infrastructure plays and stocks, and we took a look at the weekly to see which ones are doing well. I talked about Caterpillar — it's a great company but kind of going bearish. Give us an overview of how this all works. Unfortunately we've only got about 10 minutes and then I've got Rob coming on after you.
Ivan: Okay. I can speak for hours — we have a full eight-hour course about all of this. But if you guys are curious, go to bulmania.com/subscribe and join the newsletter. Each and every week I'll be keeping you up to date with what's happening.
All in all, in Bull Mania we work with trends. When something is in a confirmed bull trend, we're bullish. When something is in a confirmed bear trend, we're bearish. This is a simple idea — like losing weight, it's simple but for people it's not easy. Bitcoin went bear in October last year. It was time to be bearish. People still were bullish. They lost everything. Sui, the same. All the coins. It was bearish. But no — people had to hold, "super cycle," whatever people say. So it's kind of similar. It's a simple idea, but to get used to it you need practice.
Then in Bull Mania, of course, we teach you: okay, let's say something flips bullish — how do you enter? How do you set a stop loss? How do you exit? Let's say 50 things flip bullish at the same time — how do you select the correct assets to go into?
What you showed on the screen just before was the Money Scanner. The Money Scanner shows you all assets in the world — all the stock markets, all the ETFs — and you can see in real time what flips bullish or bearish. So you can react fast. Caterpillar, for example — it's now bearish on the weekly time frame.
Rob: Yeah, weekly and daily.
Ivan: So it's been bearish also a month ago on the daily, and it's down about 10%. You can see in real time — stocks, crypto, precious metals — what's flipping bullish or bearish. And recently we also added Bull Mania AI. So let's say something flips bullish and you don't know what it is — then you have an AI button on the right of each row. Have you tried this one?
Rob: Exactly.
Ivan: Don't click Bitcoin — go to some stock so it's interesting for our audience. Go to some random stock. The use case I want to demonstrate is: let's say something goes bullish and you don't know what it is. If you scroll down, let's say pick Broadcom. Do you want to go weekly or daily?
Rob: Go to weekly.
Ivan: Go to weekly. And let's say SpaceX — go to SpaceX, the yellow one. If you click the AI button on the right, it's going to open up Bull Mania AI and it's going to ask Bull Mania AI what's the latest on SpaceX, what are people saying on X. It's a nice way to connect what recently happened in the chart with what people are saying about it online, because you can see what has real momentum, where there's a real community. This way you can ensure that you're only in bullish assets, but you also know what they are. You have conviction. You know it's not a pump and dump. Sometimes things feel bullish and it's a pump and dump — some shitcoin where people come together to pump. You want to avoid that. With Bull Mania AI, you can now see it.
So here — you see the whole report on SpaceX, fully connected to Twitter. You see everyone who is speaking about it. Now you know SpaceX, but imagine some random company just flipped bullish and you don't know anything about them. You click the AI button and you get a full report on it. You also see everyone who's speaking about it — all of these influencers. So you can follow them. Let's say you found a new coin and you want to get up to speed with the community — who is speaking, you bubble up, follow very quickly, see what they're saying.
And if you want to share this — let's say you research a coin and you want to share it with your Discord or your community — you can scroll down all the way to the bottom. You see there's a publish button. If you click publish, it creates a public, shareable link. And also, Rob, when you do a show, let's say you do a stream — you can just ask Bull Mania AI what's the latest in the last 24 hours, what has happened to Bitcoin, stocks, AI — just ask it. It's going to give you a very nice report, and you have all the tweets, all the content done for you. It's fantastic.
Rob: You know what? This is a good segue. I'm going to talk to Wes about this on Smart Money Tracking. He's a swing trader and he talks about how he has to be kept up to date with what's going on. He's like, "The TA is great, but if Trump sends something out on Truth Social, it kind of goes to pot. Or if something big in the macro has some issues, it just goes down the tubes." He's constantly looking at the news, constantly following macro trends. And this, I think, is pretty good — if he can just make it easier, faster, and smarter.
Ivan: Yeah. Tell him to just test it — ask what's the latest swing trades in crypto that people are speaking about. You're going to be surprised how good it is. Just test it. Whatever you try to research — otherwise Twitter is going to waste your time with politics, rage bait, all kinds of other bait. To get the same understanding about a stock or asset by scrolling Twitter yourself is going to take five times more time. You're going to get lost, you're going to get distracted. Here you ask about anything, you get the exact people who speak about it, ordered by credibility. It's insane, basically.
Rob: Yeah. Test that. That's a good one. And before we wrap up — everybody, there'll be a link in the description to check that out. But as a reminder —
Ivan: Rob, put bulmania.com/subscribe. You guys sign up for the newsletter, and in the newsletter we're also going to send out when new spots for Bull Mania are available, and you join from there.
Rob: Exactly. So the newsletter is the gateway to everything. And then in the newsletter, we're going to send out when new spots are available, you join, everything's great — AI, mechanical rules, everything, the full thing.
Ivan pledges $10,000 donation live on stream
Rob: All right. Well, Ivan, I wish we had more time. As usual, you always have interesting stuff, but I appreciate it. And everybody, thanks so much for stopping by. Ivan, thanks for stopping by. If you'd like to donate a little bit to the charity, there's a link in the description. You can do any kind of crypto you want to. So we will catch up with you.
Ivan: Rob, I'll donate $10,000 to your charity, but I will need the receipt so we can sort it from the tax side. Let's coordinate on Twitter afterwards. Guys, donate — smash the donate button, send the monies. Let's go.
Rob: I appreciate it. I'll see you. Bye.
Rob's closing thoughts on using Claude alongside Bull Mania
Rob: All right, gotta love that. That was a good one. There's another secret I wanted to share before we get Rob Art in here, which is that the system Ivan created with Bull Mania is really good and really comprehensive. What I did was I fed the information into Claude and had Claude act as my secondary person to look at it. So when I went through it — I was doing a little bit more trading on the stock side — I would tell Claude, "Hey, take a look at this." I would do a screen share and it would look through it and say, "Rob, that's not what Ivan was talking about. You need to stop chasing and you need to do this, this, and this." Because I was able to do that, it made things a hell of a lot easier.
